Overview of the Learning Support Center

At the Learning Support Center, tutors are available every day from Monday to Friday during the semester to provide study consultation and guidance, focusing on the basic subjects (Mathematics, Physics, English) that are the prerequisite for specialized learning at university.
In addition, depending on the day of the week, tutors for Japanese (for international students) and bookkeeping are also available. (Please check the tutor's schedule for availability.)
We provide individual guidance (group guidance is also available) to help you review basic subjects and answer questions you may have in class, helping to increase your motivation to study. You can easily book individual guidance online. In addition, textbooks for each subject are available for self-study. Students from any faculty, department, or year can use the center (free of charge, of course), so please make active and effective use of the center to enjoy the fun of learning while cultivating the solid foundational skills you need to advance to specialized learning and research.

Web consultations are only available on Google Chrome. Web consultations are only available to current students of our university.

How to Use

1. Please inform the reception of the subjects you wish to consult. (Please inform even if you are self-studying.)
2. Please swipe your student ID card through the card reader.
3. Tutors for each subject (A (Mathematics), B (Physics), C (English), and D (Bookkeeping/Japanese)) will be waiting in the rooms at the back of the reception desk, so please start your consultation with your tutor.

Depending on the tutor's teaching schedule, you may have to wait for a while. You may leave the room temporarily during the lesson, but please be sure to take your valuables with you. Smoking, eating, drinking, and using mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the center.

What is a Mini-Lecture?

Mini courses are courses organized by the Learning Support Center and are open to all students at the university. In addition to "Mathematics" and "Physics," the courses include "English" for beginners in TOEIC, basic "Bookkeeping," and "Japanese" for international students, and can be taken by students of any faculty, department, or year.
The tutor will explain things slowly and clearly, and you can learn the basics that you are unsure about by solving practice problems together. You can also ask the tutor for more detailed explanations after the course. Of course, you can take the course for free.
